ABOUT NETRIN
Netrin was born at IIT Madras six years ago with one clear truth —"In fitness, the heart doesn’t get the attention it truly deserves."
While most fitness offerings out there count steps or calories, we went deeper — to understand how the heart responds, recovers, and adapts.
Our technology blends clinical-grade ECG sensing with intelligent intervention in the form of heart-first training, helping people train smarter, recover better, and build a stronger relationship with their most important organ. We’re not here to gamify movement — we’re here to humanize it, one heartbeat at a time.

Preejith | CEO
MS IIT Madras | Ex-HTIC
Preejith started his career by working on a project that literally helped people see better; by taking cataract surgeries to remote villages, restoring sight to over 50,000 people. He’s also built medical devices with Tata and GE, and even led the team behind India’s own endoscopic system (yes, the one that cut down import dependence).
He believes the best healthcare is the kind you never have to need — the kind that keeps you well in the first place. At Netrin, he’s on a mission to turn that belief into reality — blending tech, science, and a bit of heart (pun intended).

Sheetal grew up in the suburbs of 1980s-90s Mumbai, where being active simply meant walking, climbing, or playing — no gym memberships or fitness trackers required. From early morning walks with her parents to spontaneous games of dodgeball and lagori, she learned that movement wasn’t something you scheduled — it was something you felt.
Today, that childlike joy still fuels her runs (along with a few podium finishes to her name).
Sheetal believes fitness should feel familiar, not forced; that our hearts remember the happy motion of childhood long after we stop noticing it. At Netrin, she helps people reconnect with that instinctive rhythm — moving not because they must, but because their heart wants to.
Dhinesh | Head of Engineering

Dhinesh has been with Netrin since its early days, shaping how our products look, feel, and function. He bridges tech and design — leading app development, UI/UX, and system innovation with equal ease.
From building India’s first athletic performance tracking system to crafting scalable, user-first design frameworks, Dhinesh turns complex data into simple, delightful experiences.
At heart, he’s a creator: deeply curious, relentlessly iterative and committed to making things that look good and work even better.

Bioinformatician
With a background in bioinformatics and biotechnology, Ambu brings analytical depth and empathy to every customer interaction. In a space where customer success demands both patience and precision, he stands out for making it look effortless.
Known for seeing things through — no matter how complex — Ambu ensures every customer journey ends on a high note. When he’s not solving challenges at work, you’ll likely find him deep in strategy and good company over a board game.
